My wife and I are both fitness enthusiasts but over the past 12 months have both had reasons to be referred by Birbeck for hospital treatments. We both feel that the GPs concerned lefty nothing to chance and we were kept informed of results and given some ongoing advice. Additionally I had a problem with a medical certificate to compete in a run abroad. The Receptionist was extremely helpful in sorting out the problem.

What happened to patient confidentiality,I have no wish to tell a receptionist what is wrong with me.Do not agree with new phone in system.

Phoned today at 2:50pm for a flu jab appointment, when I explained I couldn't make the Saturday appointments and that I had been informed of that the surgery does them from 4pm onwards each day (by a staff member), the receptionists response was "Hmph well that's a lie, we don't do that." She then informed me about the Saturday appointment which I explained again I couldn't attend she then offered me an appointment over a week away a flu jab is super fast I have had them for many years I'm not someone who is going to take up loads of time and there must be sooner options but I wasn't given any. Very poor patient care from the reception team but then again the surgery is always like that, totally shocking as I am supposed trust these people with my health. My past experiences have been bad as well as when I have seen the doctor (which is never the same person) I have explained which medication hasn't worked and they have just shrugged and given me the same to use to then come back again in a week. LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS!

We moved up from survey 6 years ago. I have found your clinic to be outstanding. We have been able to make appointments easily and have always received efficient and professional care. All staff are kind and encouraging. I have arthritis which has led to the need for pain management and far too many broken ankles. I have never felt rushed or a nuisance. Thank you for your care.
